Architect rolls and plans

Design stage occurs as an architect or engineer is designing a special needs facility or Autism unit which requires a personnel anchor point for use with a swing or similar accessory. This is the optimum point for us to get involved in a project as our input here generally avoids complications and oversights later on in the construction stage regarding minimum requirements for the swing.

When we are designing a suspension point to suit a room, we consult the manufacturer of the swing accessory to establish their minimum requirements and harmonise these with the current legislation, the buildings capacity and structural limitations. Due to the widespread use of suspended ceilings to conceal utilities etc. we will quite often have to design and fabricate a bespoke piece to allow the point be secured sufficiently to the structure.
